Helios ran its Collaborative Care program on a third-party platform, but licensing was costing hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. So they built their own. Helios brought us a prototype they'd built with AI, and ProdCycle rebuilt it into the production platform they run today: software they own and control, shaped to exactly how the team works. Compliance by design

Helios's compliance frameworks shaped the build from the first spec, and every control maps to the code and infrastructure that satisfy it.
- PHI isolation.Each practice's patient data is walled off from every other practice's, the way HIPAA requires.
- Least-privilege access. Six clinical roles with multi-factor authentication on every account and SSO via SAML and OIDC.
- A tamper-proof record. Every PHI access and change is written to an append-only audit log and archived in write-once storage.
- Encryption end to end. AES-256 at rest with customer-managed keys, TLS 1.3 in transit, across the database, storage, and logs.
- Built to recover. Patient data is backed up continuously and can be restored to any recent point in time, with a tested disaster-recovery plan behind it.

It belongs to Helios.
Helios's registry was built in its own dedicated cloud environment from day one, so the handoff was a transfer, not a migration. The code, the data, and the full audit trail went with it. We've already handed Helios the keys, and the transition was seamless: no re-architecting, no lift and shift, zero downtime.
